He spent two years working as a senior research consultant on Forrester's custom research team, where he produced proprietary quantitative research for clients. In this role, he designed, fielded, and analyzed customized research surveys to understand demand-side trends and translated the results of these studies into action-oriented insights.
Prior to joining Forrester, J.P. worked as a senior analyst for the Yankee Group, where he covered small and medium-size business communications and wholesale telecommunications markets. As an analyst, he produced syndicated research reports, market forecasts, and customized data projects for telecommunications clients. He has led teams of analysts to successfully complete multiyear consulting engagements serving major incumbent and interexchange telecommunications carriers.
A prolific writer and speaker, J.P. has written articles for publications like The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times. He has also been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and USA Today, and he has appeared on NBC television, Voice of America, and other media outlets.

Education

J.P. graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. (magna cum laude) and an M.A. in political science. He also conducted research at the Harvard Business School
