Vice President, Principal Analyst
Forrester Research, Inc.
Who should attend: Application Development & Program Management professionals
Description:
Based on an interview series with business and IT executives of banks in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Australia, Forrester has summarized key findings on potential changes in the banking and financial services space in 2023. It shows how financial services firms will interact with each other and with their customers in the future and which core competencies banks expect to need. It also shows the need for information technology and its successor business technology to help the business differentiate from competition and how application development and delivery will change.
While 2023 looks like a very concrete date, some banks will only need five or eight years to arrive in 2023 — to some degree — while others may have to take a 10- to 15-years-long path.
