I joined Forrester because it offered a unique opportunity to collaborate with leaders from different backgrounds and play a pivotal role in advancing their core missions. I had worked in healthcare IT previously and liked the feeling that I was helping others in some way. Now, working across North American government, I have the opportunity to help people whose work impacts our day-to-day lives. They want to be part of something larger than themselves and to make things better, and I love helping to advance that mission. It’s fulfilling in a way that I didn’t expect.
A genuine desire to see others succeed
The work I do is more than a job, it’s a privilege. It’s extremely gratifying to be able to lead a high-performing team and foster an environment where collaboration translates to our clients’ success. Every day, I witness the power of a team united by a shared purpose — driven not just by targets but by a genuine desire to see each other succeed, see the team win, and help our clients.
For me, sales is not just about selling; it’s about helping create a meaningful difference. I have personally witnessed the transformative impact of our work on our clients: It’s helped them drive their organizations forward faster, secure promotions, and launch initiatives that positively impact our communities.
Embracing a customer-centric growth mindset
To excel in sales at Forrester, you have to want to be part of a dynamic and ever-evolving culture. You need to embrace a growth mindset that’s always centered on the customer. Successful sales reps at Forrester are curious individuals who can quickly comprehend our clients’ needs and align them with our business capabilities. The only constant is change, and successful Forrester sales reps know how to embrace that mantra.

What has kept me at Forrester for over 17 years is the incredible people and the vibrant culture. Our team comprises intelligent, passionate, and compassionate individuals from whom I learn something new every day.
