Managing Director, Federal Home Loan Bank

Faye Dixon-Harris is Managing Director at the Federal Home Loan Bank San Francisco (FHLBank San Francisco) where she leads the IT Risk and Compliance team. As a technology professional specializing in cyber risk management, Faye is responsible for identifying cyber risk and partnering with business stakeholders to develop strategies to manage, reduce, or accept risk in alignment with the Bank’s risk tolerance.

Prior to joining FHLBank San Francisco, Faye led risk assessment teams at Visa where her responsibilities included assessing the security of systems that process payment card transactions and managing requirements for alignment with data protection requirements. Faye has also consulted as a risk advisor for wealth management companies. Faye holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of San Francisco and holds two ISACA certifications. Faye is a Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) as well as a Certified Data Privacy Solution Engineer (CDPSE).

Faye is a passionate advocate of universal security awareness education and is a contributing author on the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) publication, “What is IAM for the Cloud” and the CSA blog “Access Control Review: Addressing Challenges and Ensuring Compliance in Cloud Service Consumers”. Both were published to aid non-technical business owners in understanding the complexities of access management in cloud environments.

Faye and her family reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a member of a competitive Dragonboat racing team and enjoys local and international competitions.
