Greg Barber
Director of Experience & Market Research, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield
Greg Barber is the Director of Experience & Market Research at CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, the BCBS affiliate serving the State of Maryland, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia. He is responsible for the CX Strategy & Design, Customer Insights & Market Research, Member Engagement, and Marketing Technology functions at CareFirst where he is charged with developing and executing innovative customer-centric initiatives across all engagement channels.
Before joining CareFirst, Greg worked for apree health (formerly Castlight Health and Vera Whole Health) where he implemented a new Customer Insights function and built out a team of data insights experts to drive operational improvements while enhancing customer and employee experiences. He began his healthcare industry career in Member Experience at CVS Caremark, and is a former Sr. Advisor at Forrester where he worked with executive leaders from more than 50 companies, and 30+ healthcare organizations, on customer and employee experience strategy and innovation.
